About Us

We welcome you to our family owned and operated Marrelli's Italian Restaurant. Our history started in Calabria, Italy. Both of my grandparents' families emigrated from Italy to the United States, when they were young, and their families settled in Glasco, New York. My grandmother, Antoinette Guandanolo met her future husband, my grandfather, Stefano Marrelli when she was a teenager.

They married and moved to Buffalo, New York in search of job opportunities. Stefano found employment as a salesman and Antoinette was a homemaker, raising their five children, their youngest son, Michael Marrelli, was my father. We moved to New Jersey when I was young, and I have fond memories of visiting my grandparents, as well as my aunts and uncles in Buffalo. Grandma's cooking was magnifico! The enticing aromas and taste of all of her home-made meals are still etched in my memory.
